Overview

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), you’ll be warmly welcomed by your private driver-guide from Enoma Africa Safari. After a short safari briefing, you will be transferred to your lodge in Arusha for relaxation, dinner, and overnight, preparing for the exciting days ahead.

After an early breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s hidden gems. The park is renowned for its vast elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and exceptional biodiversity. The Tarangire River, a vital water source, attracts abundant wildlife, especially during the dry season. Expect to encounter elephants, lions, leopards, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and more than 500 bird species.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park followed by an extensive afternoon game drive. Later, continue to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight under the stars.

Marera Valley Lodge

After breakfast, descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. Known as
the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” this vast caldera shelters one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. It is among the few places where you can see the Big Five lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and black rhino all within a single day.

Enjoy your packed lunch at a scenic picnic site before ascending the crater rim and driving to your lodge, arriving in the late afternoon for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Marera Valley Lodge

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, beautifully set against the backdrop of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. This lush park is home to a variety of habitats ranging from groundwater forests to open savannahs and the sparkling alkaline lake itself.
Highlights include the park’s tree-climbing lions, large elephant herds, playful baboons, and flocks of pink flamingos. Bird enthusiasts will delight in spotting over 400 species recorded here.

After lunch at a picnic site, enjoy a final game drive before returning to Arusha City. You may choose to be dropped off at your hotel or transferred directly to the airport for your onward journey.
